About Keith
Keith Wallace grew up in Bellingham, Washington after spending his first two years in Mountain View, California. From perfect grade‑school attendance to earning “Boy of the Month” at the local Boys & Girls Club, he was the kid who cheerfully greeted every passer‑by—an early hint of the connector he would become. Sports and competition fueled his drive, but a high‑school counselor’s question—“What if the NFL doesn’t call?”—planted a second dream: helping families as an insurance agent.
That dream came to life in the early 1990s. Keith cut his teeth at MetLife making 50 cold calls a day, delivered pizzas at night to keep the lights on, and soon pivoted into health insurance, determined “to always show up on time”. In 2001 he built the health department at Rice Insurance from scratch, and a year later he joined the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals (NABIP). CAP Conference 2013 sealed the deal—“I was home,” he recalls.
Since 2012 Keith has served continuously at every level of NABIP: Legislative Chair, Washington State President, National Membership Chair, and now Region 8 RVP. Along the way he’s been Membership Recruiter of the Year, a multi‑year Triple Crown winner, and a Triple Diamond PAC contributor. In 2021 he merged his practice with Trucordia Insurance Services, where he now leads a national sales platform—leveraging the same chapter‑building skills he honed inside NABIP.
Married 33 years to his college sweetheart Jodi, Keith is dad to Rachel and Graham and “Papa” to grandson Asa. Split between Washington and a sun‑soaked home in Palm Springs, he keeps his swing tuned on the golf course and his heart in local chapters—fueling his 2025 run for NABIP Secretary.

I have worked with Keith for the past 10 years in Region 8, and he has always been a leader by doing. He is a positive force for good in our association. He is a dynamic leader who works to find solutions, and does not suffer from negative thinking. Keith has risen to the top of two key NABIP committees – Membership and Leadership Development. His work on the Leadership Development committee brought the Leadership Academy (along with his committee) had lead to a great program for NABIP leaders. His work on membership drove improved processes and helped to develop the Membership Dues Model, which is frankly the only reason our membership has stabilized as more and more independent agents are selling to larger firms. He created much of the current collateral and model which the committee currently uses. As a leader at the local, state and national level on committees and as RVP, Keith has done a fantastic job while making those around him want to work – and he supports their good ideas and bring them to fruition. That is the type of leadership we need at NABIP. I wholeheartedly endorse Keith.
